Leopard Print Is The New Black
I have heard leopard print is the new black this fall season and I am here for that! It gave me an excuse to bust out this 4 year old cashmere sweater from TJmaxx, an oldie but a goodie. I love being able to find pieces in my closest that have really been timeless lasting more than two or even three seasons. It really makes it worth investing in an expensive piece of clothing once in a while, especially when you find it on super sale at TJmaxx, Nordstrom Rack, or Saks Off Fifth. Also if you are afraid of investing in a designer handbag but want to try I truly suggest hunting certain TJmaxx stores like the one in Villanova to get crazy good designer deals. Huge bargain hunter tip: call the discount store ahead of time and talk to a manager find out when they get their shipments in and if there are certain times of the month they get designer.
I am so glad mixing patterns is so in right now as well cause I cannot wait to pair this sweater with a bold printed maxi skirt this winter. Don’t you love challenging yourself to rethink how to wear your favorite pieces? It helps freshen my perspective on things, just like I need that refresher in my daily life sometimes. Do you ever feel like you are just ready for a change? Like something major? I know I go through this every couple of years just wanting a personal challenge and something to push myself into or towards. I recently went through what I called a quarter life crisis in my professional career. I have always loved working retail, I love talking to people, and genuinely enjoy making people feel good about themselves. Recently though I have just felt as though my personal drive and self motivation (which is very high) was being sucked out of me day by day. I craved something different and I am taking a huge leap into a new full time career!!!
I am giving up the retail life I have loved for so long to learn the Technology industry for a recruiting firm in downtown Philadelphia. I will be parking my Jeep wrangler for a daily commuter train pass. Trading sleeping in and unpredictable hours for a little more stability 8-5 Monday thru Friday. It may be crazy but it’s the right move for me and I am going to love it I can tell. I will get to pass by Reading Terminal Market every morning on my walk into work. Not to mention be able to go to so many blog events I always have wanted to that are hosted from like 6-8 in the city! I am all for embracing change in life as it is truly the only thing we endure that is constant. Any suggestions for me about public transportation commuting?? Any must have items I need in my purse at all times?? Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
