Philadelphia Flower Show
This years Philadelphia Flower Show’s theme was Flower Power & it was the best one I have ever attended. I have only been three times but the displays this year really were mind blowing, it was also nice they had the Woodstock theme music playing in the background, can never go wrong with a little Jimi Hendrix. I was so happy I got to attend this year with my second mom Joanne & catch up with her since I last saw her at her holiday party. It was so nice to see her and her husband Fred who have truly become a second set of parents for me down here.
It is always held at the Convention Center downtown Philly, where they also host the Auto Show and a whole bunch of other events. I was so torn on what to wear this year as of course it was still feeling like a winter day the evening I attended after work. So I went with a really simple look and my new favorite necklace I scored from the Ethereal boutique in State College. I was happy this plain look was great to pose in front of such colorful displays. I even broke into a display, going behind the boundaries, because it a giant C & of course that was screaming my name. I wish I could have taken that bad boy home after the week was over for my Carlita’s Closet/guest room.
Enjoy the photos from the flower show if you weren’t able to attend this year! Next year I would definitely go if you love plants or need some new cute apartment/home decor! The shopping section is Joanne’s favorite and let’s not lie probably one of mine as well. I came home with a couple cute posters & wall hangs, as well as an air plant for my desk!
Also totally a random side note but almost all of my outfit inspiration has been coming from Pinterest lately if you don’t follow me already check out what inspires me!! I love to see you’re guys Pinterest page as well, drop your link in the comments and I’ll give you a follow!
Lacoste sweater was a vintage find from Goodwill- honestly thrifting is one of my favorite ways to shop!
