Dec 26 Listen To Your Body

You may or may not have noticed my two week hiatus from the blog, not for any crazy reason but simply because I was listening to my body and not letting myself become stressed out more than one needs to be during the holiday season. I am still getting into the groove of things at my new job but really enjoying myself so far! Having weekends off has been such a blessing and I have been using them to the fullest to do all sorts of things like blogger brunches and date nights with Spencer. Sunday night rolls around and I’m like “oh no! I need to prep the blogs for the week” but the last few Sunday’s that has just not been at the top of my priority list.

Instead I would take the time to completely unplug or do something I wanted to, like take a bath in my new jacuzzi tub, or read Little Fires Everywhere because I have had the book for three months and barely made a dent, or simply enjoy the new house! It is important to be able to pick and chose when the right time is to devote to something and when you need to step away to let your creative juices flow. Sure I should have been more consistent in my blogging and planning of content but it was worth more to me to have my mental health in a positive direction and manifesting goals for 2019. I am excited to share with all of you what I have been working on the last couple weeks, I am ready to kick ass in 2019!

I was home for the holidays and it was the first time I have been off Christmas Eve in 7 years, time is the biggest blessing of all I am realizing the older I get. I hope you all got to spend this time with people you love the most as well! I am learning to make the most of my time and cherish it when you can spend it with the ones you love and simply spending your time doing what you love to do. I learned at a very early age to treat everyday like it is your last but I am going to fully embrace that philosophy in 2019.
