Ready For Spring
Well I am over being teased by these days of near spring weather just to get hit by a Nor'easter in March. I have dealt with more snow and gross weather this last week than all winter and needless to say I am over the cold weather. I am ready for warmer days and my birthday month to come!! Any other Aries babes out there???
This outfit was worn on one of those random 70 degree days so yes it was appropriate at the time. This morning as I am watching one of my favorite fashion blogger's Instastories Kathleen was preaching on how sometimes you have to have fun in your own closet before going shopping. If y'all have never read or heard of Carrie Bradshaw Lied head over there as soon as you're done reading this! I promise she will give you tons of outfit inspiration and if you're a fellow animal mom she slams all the haters as does Chrissy Teigen on all social media platforms. But anyways back to her Instastories from last night she is simply playing around in her own closet to create new looks verses buying something! All I have to say to her is PREACH!! Especially because I am trying to save up to buy a house with Spencer before 2019, shopping is no longer in the budget. Which for anyone who knows me knows that is a struggle, as it is one of my favorite past times. Also for those of you who know me on a personal level know I have more than enough clothing in my three, packed-full, bursting at the seams closets in the apartment to do exactly what Kathleen is suggesting! Shop your own closet! I am extremely petite and tiny but I do know my friends love to take advantage of shopping my closet when they can too.
Any other tricks on how to re-vamp your wardrobe with things you already own? Would love to hear others tips!!
So naturally as the theme of this blog was recycling clothing and a lot of mine will be in the future I will try to include like items for you all to shop!
