Happy Saturday Loves! Wow it has been a hot minute but if you follow me over on Instagram you know I have been dealing with a lot of health issues and trying to balance that & my full time job was definitely taking up most of my time the last couple weeks. I am happy to say I am finally getting some answers to my extremely sensitive stomach that I have been living with since high school and I am proud that I am trying to finally be proactive about what causes my episodes of nausea and vomiting. One thing I really learned over the last couple weeks is that I am not alone!! I got so many DM’s about others having similar issues and although it sounds super cliche it was really comforting to know I wasn’t the only one dealing with these annoyances that make me feel like I can’t lead a normal life.
Alright rant time over now onto one fashion accessory I am so happy made a come back, the backpack. I seriously don’t know how my back was doing the commute into Center City prior to having this awesome backpack Spencer bought me for Christmas. A tote bag was big enough and all but man I was having crazy back/shoulder issues carrying that thing especially if I ever needed to take my laptop home from work. Spencer did some research and got me my very last Henri Bendel piece before they went out of business in January. I will forever love & cherish this backpack as I loved going into their 5th ave store when I would visit NYC (R.I.P. Henri your iconic brown & white stripes will be missed).
Below I am sharing some of my other favorite backpacks that were in the running for a great everyday, commuter bag. At first I was going to just default to a cheaper backpack but Spencer made the point of it being a new career start & that I should have a better quality bag. So I have a couple affordable choices & a couple that are more splurge but will definitely last you longer. What is your favorite accessory for a commute? I take a 45 minute train ride (that can sometimes go longer SEPTA always has something going on) and I could not survive with out my backpack & headphones. I would love to hear what you cannot live without on your commute to work in the comments!
