New and Old Obsessions
Happy Friday y'all! I don't know about anyone else but this weekend feels like it took forever to get here and I was even off an extra day this week. I am so happy to be into this weather where the humidity isn't smacking you in the face every time you walk outside, and maybe I'll be able to wear a light sweater or jacket to the bars soon!! Not that I am in any way ready to give up my summer wardrobe but I do get a tad excited to break out my cozy fall items again. This post is a little different focused around my obsessions new and old, this is also something I am definitely going to start doing seasonally. So please let me know if you enjoy hearing about the items I cannot live without & why, as well as the new items I am dying to try or buy!!
If you have followed me since my blogspot.com days then you know I have been and forever will be a bohemian chic chica, with a love for everything and anything Free People. Even as my style evolves the base always comes back to that 70's inspired, hippie chick vibes. Along with that I have been a fan of layering necklaces since far before this summer when it really became popular. One of my favorite things to do with accessories is also to mix metals which I am so happy is becoming more "in". Who says you can't wear gold, silver, and rose gold all at the same time??
I have to say new trends I am finding myself in love with include but are not limited to the chunky sneaker trend, sneakers with dressy outfits, teddy bear jackets for fall/winter, and borrowed from the boys silhouettes for girls. I am so petite I used to think I could never pull off the over-sized blazer look but this is now one of my favorite looks to wear to work!! What are some trends you have tried and found yourself in love with lately??
Shop the accessories I am obsessed with here:
Shoes I am obsessed with:
Nordstrom Stuart Weitzman Lowland Boot $798
Shoes are the one category I don't mind splurging on because you can really get your cost per wear! My Stuart Weitzman's and Jeffrey Campbell's last for mulitple seasons every time and look good year to year with the proper care (i.e. suede protecting and having your leather boots shined!!)
Fall trends I am obsessed with:
Everything Plaid/Borrowed from the Boys
