This plaid blazer has been one of my favorite new editions to my ever expanding wardrobe. Someone might look at a plaid blazer and think how can I style that without it being memorable or in different ways? I am here to answer all those questions! This is one of my favorite challenges when looking at my clothes is how can I re-invent this or make this look like I haven’t worn it a million times before. If you know me you know I love bold, printed things and this is why I have become a master a mixing prints and changing up styles!

I decided to do one dressy and one causal look for this plaid blazer I got from Treasure & Bond last spring at Nordstrom. I love the grey/blue/black combination in this blazer because it really makes it an item I can wear year round. Throwing on this black dress with my Diante boots from Marc Fisher was an edgy dressed up look. The buckles on these boots make me feel instantly badass in any outfit.

For a more fun causal look I went with my favorite pair of designer heels, some skinny jeans from Free People, and a simple tee. Brandy Melville has the best basic and graphic t-shirts at the most affordable prices!! I own just about everyone and cannot get over how soft their cotton is. I may trade in my open toe shoes for a closed toe heel now that snow is laying on the ground from last weeks surprise storm on the east coast! I was SO not ready for anything to stick on the ground but have to admit our house was so beautiful in our first snow!!

xoxo Carlita
