I Quit My Job Of 5 Years

So unless you have been living under a rock you know I recently quit my job of 5 years and it taught me one VERY important thing, embrace change. Sometimes you just need that push to take the next step even when you think you aren’t ready for it. I struggled with this for months before quitting my job, like it’s scary to take a leap of faith and try something complete new and different! But I knew I had to do it because although I was happy in the role I was in I wasn’t being challenged enough and overall I could feel my positive, bubbly, energetic personality being sucked out of me which wasn’t cool at all. 

When you are able to self recognize these symptoms you know it is time for something to change drastically with your lifestyle. It took me a many years to be able know myself well enough to  self diagnose these changes within my mood and physical well being; and I have my mother to thank for this because she made it a point to get me as grounded as possible as a child and teenager. I’ve mentioned this book many times before but do yourself a favor and read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, it will help you make 4 daily agreements with yourself to make life less stressful. It will also help you be able to be more self aware of your actions and how powerful even putting a thought out into the universe is for your mood. 

Lastly I would like to leave this post on a positive note to not be afraid to do what is best for you. Sometimes you need to completely leave others out of it and seriously think about what will be the best fit for you and your happiness.
