Thanksgiving Day Outfit Idea
Well better late than never! Just in time for turkey day tomorrow I am sharing what I think the perfect Thanksgivings day outfit is...aka something flowy to hide the food baby belly I will have by probably 2 PM. So funny how dinner on Thanksgiving is served in the middle of the afternoon in most families! We usually have a huge brunch buffet then the Turkey dinner later around 4. What do you all do with your families on this wonderful day of eating and being grateful?!
I scored this gorgeous Spell Design floral maxi at The Geisha House in Philly a few weeks ago when I attended their #TGHinfluencer2018 party! I have been staring at this dress in my closet ever since getting ideas on how I can wear it throughout the season. So often we limit ourselves because we say “oh that is a summer piece”, I am all about thinking of ways you can layer spring/summer wardrobe favorites so you can wear them year round. Layering is key! Also putting a skinny turtle neck under and dress or tank instantly makes it cute and fall/winter appropriate.
I am going to do a couple sales posts for the insane weekend of deals and shopping coming up. I know my boyfriend has been eyeing up a 4K TV for almost 6 months waiting for this Black Friday deal. I am more focused this year on Shop Small Saturday though. Becoming an entrepreneur of my own I truly appreciate supporting small and local businesses!!!! Corporate America will always get enough love but take into consideration how much of an impact you can make on small business and help support business owners you know personally this year!!!!
Spekaing of shopping small The Geisha House in Old City Philly will definitely be having deals this Saturday. One of them is 25% off Spell Design in the whole store thru the 24th!!!! I believe they had one of these maxis left in a size M!! If you’ve been listing over this Australian brand as I have been for years it’s a great time to make the investment in one of their pieces!!
Happy hump day y’all! If you’re at work I hope you got to go home early! It is a whole new world to me to be able to enjoy this time of the year vs. working 65+ hour work weeks. I am going to soak up every bit of time with my family and loved ones!!
