My mother always taught me growing up to be grateful everyday and this is something I cannot wait to pass on to my own children someday. It is so important to take little moments each day to realize how blessed you truly are. Thanksgiving being two days away I thought this was a more than appropriate blog post. Between my health, my family, my wonderful boyfriend and an awesome job with a second mother I get to work with I can simply not complain. Even those days that stress me out and test my limits are all worth it because I still have so much to be grateful for, and it's important we all remember this.
I am so excited to be heading home to State College, PA with my boyfriend tomorrow evening to spend Thanksgiving with my family. I thought I would share this look below cause it is perfect for any up coming holiday parties you're attending! I'm sure Ann Taylor and LOFT will be having sales this weekend, so you'll be able to find it all on sale. Also Net-a-porter is having a big sale and you can score Stuart Weitzman's just like mine for half off.
I love wearing a thin turtle neck under a dress to make it winter appropriate. When I laid eyes on this crushed velvet, deep v-neck swing dress at LOFT I knew it had to come home with me! Being such a petite frame I absolutely love to shop their and Ann Taylor's petite sections. My gorgeous wool wrap coat is from Ann Taylor and was a gift from my boss (she bought the same one too!, see our twinning picture above). Score the dress for 40% off by clicking this link here! Here is a link to the coat on Ann Taylor, it also comes in black, but I would wait to purchase until the sale weekend.
